So last night I ditched out of
R & J rehearsal and got in a little extra exercise - I walked down the street to catch a movie. (Seriously! 15 minutes both ways!) My movie choices were
Nick and Nora's Infinite Playlist or
Forever Strong - and since the former hasn't opened yet, I went with the latter. I know it's being pegged as a "Mormon movie", since it was filmed in Salt Lake and directed by an LDS filmaker, but at the most it has only very indirect references to the Church or gospel doctrine. There are no references to scriptures, attending church, or missionary work of any kind. That being said, I thought it was an excellent movie. It's a "sports movie", which means it has lots of cliches, but it also has a decent script (no swearing - odd for a sports movie ;-)), good directing and editing, and some very nice acting. I was engrossed by the story, and I don't know anything about rugby! I'd be happy to see
Forever Strong again, and I'm thinking this is one I'll buy on DVD, too. (Also, I am once again motivated to exercise.)

Yesterday I went in for a trim and ended up having three inches taken off my hair - came into the office today, and NO ONE NOTICED. I guess I change my hair a lot.

It has taken me about four hours to compose this post, we've been so busy today with International Visitors. I am REALLY looking forward to Sunday afternoon. I may have to take a "buy" on working out tomorrow - I'll be in the office from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM, and then my family is going out to dinner... We'll all be out tonight until after 10:00 PM, and I don't think I'll be able to get up at 4:00 to work out before I get ready for the day. I see much chocolate in my (near) future.
