ETA: Here is the blog post she's responding to. And this is my dear friend's response to that same post, and I think it's BRILLIANT. Girls, you'll cheer. Guys, well, for the most part you won't be offended or anything, but you might end up with a very handy little "Note to self".

You know what, I couldn't get the link to work either - I reset it, and I think it's OK now. Plus I added more links, just to get confusing!
Here's the tricky part--if you don't play the game of "hanging out" and inviting over for dessert, etc., there are plenty of women who will, which would defeat the purpose of taking a stand and making the guy ask you out! Unfortunately, guys like being pursued as much as we do--it's a vicious cycle!
